Alyson Ireland
About Alyson
Alyson Ireland has experience in all phases of film, everything from development to pre-production, production, and post production. Her passion for film drives her to work the long hours required to take a film through to completion, while bringing a creative, resilient, and flexible approach to the job. She earned her Bachelor Degree in Film and Digital Media from the University of North Georgia. Alyson loves all aspects of film, but she feels most alive when creating the maimed, scarred, and disturbed. When she’s not shaping something horrifying, she gets much satisfaction in the opposite role: applying beauty makeup, bringing out the natural allure of others.

As the make-up artist for the stage production of Frankenstein at A.C Reynolds High School in Asheville, North Carolina, Alyson transformed the lead actor into Frankenstein’s monster before every performance. She’s applied beauty makeup for special events such as weddings, homecoming dances, parties, and even for dates. Reaching back to her childhood, for as long as she can remember, Alyson has been on stage in one role or another, singing, acting, dancing, applying makeup and styling hair, building and taking down set, writing scripts. As a result of her versatility, she’s purposely involved herself in all areas of production and post production, and, as a result, has earned numerous awards from her local hometown theatre. A deep love for film and theatre pulses in her. She brings her unique talents and skills to every job she does, no matter how big or small. A recent college graduate, Alyson is prepared to take on bigger and more challenging jobs, and will continue expanding her skills in special effects and beauty makeup.
